The Best Baltic Communication Agency Award has been won by the Latvian agency Deep White
In the Baltic communication professionals’ competition Mi:t&Links 2022, the main award or Grand Prix has been won by the Latvian agency Deep White, which has been recognised as the best agency in Latvia and the Baltics. In seven different competition categories, Deep White won a total of 10 awards.
“The last year has not only been challenging for the communication industry, but also extremely motivating. Changing times inspire creativity and the pandemic was no exception. We have proved able to adapt to new communication habits and were forced to experiment with new ways how to address audiences. Perhaps this is why this year’s competition among Baltic agencies was especially fierce, and it is a great honour to win,” says Deep White founder Egle Klekere, commenting on the agency’s victory.
Deep White won first place in four categories: Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability, Corporate Communication, Event PR and Sponsorship Projects with projects including support for the establishment of the first Mothers’ Milk Bank in Latvia, Latvia’s biggest sports events, kidney cancer patients and a campaign to support local producers “Grow Latvia!”. The agency won second place in the No Budget category with the youth programme MOT and in the Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability category with a project involving the installation of heart defibrillators in Rimi stores and their communication, as well as in the category Covid-19 Communication with the Swedbank project focusing on how to explain money to children. In turn, the agency won a Bronze Medal for its support for the organisation of Swedbank’s School Youth Song and Dance Celebration communication campaign.
The winning projects were implemented for the following companies: Swedbank Latvija, Rimi Latvia, Ipsen Pharma and the NGO Mot Latvija. The campaigns were produced in collaboration with the following agencies: Nord DDB Riga, Entercreative, Cube and Sponsorking.
Over 200 works were entered for the competition, which is 20% up on the total number of entries the previous year. In 18 competition categories, works were submitted by businesses, public and non-governmental sector institutions, agencies and individual specialists. First place in individual categories was awarded to VAS Sadales tīkli, Golin Riga and 3K Management, McCann Riga, Overpriced, White Label, Komunikācijas aģentūra and others.
The Mi:t&Links Baltic Communication Award 2022 competition is the Baltic communication industry’s main annual event, and this is the sixth year that it has taken place under its current title. The competition itself has taken place since 2005. Its main goal is to give the communication industry’s representatives the chance to showcase the previous year’s most successful works, to learn and draw inspiration from others, as well as to recognise the best projects and campaigns.
